In trying to work and navigate my workplace issue it just all began to consume me and i needed to reach out for help. I tried friends, colleagues and well minded community people but i was still doing the running and negotiating. A really close friend told me that i needed to seek out some good professional help to deal with the issue and secondly get some therapy for my overall wellbeing. I did this. I was able to get counselling and things started to move with my employer. I finally felt i was heard. I was valued. Most importantly i was believed.
